Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Pulmonary rehab is an individually tailored, progressive exercise and education program aimed in helping participants regain their strength and endurance, achieve personal goals, and perform daily living activities with greater ease. Participant's activity and progress is closely monitored by qualified staff.
A practitioner's referral is required for participation in our program. Any adult with chronic, stable lung disease is a candidate for the program. Conditions which may be included, however are not limited to are:
- Asthma
- Bronchiectasis
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COPD)
- Emphysema
- Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
- Lung Cancer
- Pulmonary Fibrosis
Participants must have the desire to work hard, become more active, stop smoking, and lead a healthy lifestyle.
