Laboratory
Regional Medical Center's laboratory offers a full line of diagnostic and therapeutic lab tests. The lab is staffed by board certified medical technologists and technicians who are committed to providing timely, accurate, and precise test results.
Appointments are not required for most laboratory tests; patients will be seen in the order of arrival. Appointments are required for drug screen collections, bone marrow biopsies, and therapeutic phlebotomies.
All patients coming to the hospital for a lab test or procedure should enter through the main entrance on the west side of the hospital. The Diagnostic Registration Desk is located just past the gift shop; all patients are required to register there. An order from the patient's healthcare provider is required for any diagnostic or therapeutic procedure to be performed.

As an added convenience, blood collections may be performed at our satellite office in Strawberry Point on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 7:00-8:00 am.
