Obstetrics and Family Health

The Obstetrics and Family Health Department is equipped to accommodate your labor, delivery, and recovery, overseen by your physician and our skilled nursing staff.  We also provide scheduled and emergency Cesarean sections, as well as outpatient non-stress testing procedures, pre-term labor, and other monitoring as directed by your physician.

OB is staffed with registered nurses who are NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified.  The OB physicians, Nurse Anesthetists, and RNs have completed PCEP (Perinatal Continuing Education Program) training under joint outreach project with St. Luke’s Neonatal Intensive Care team, providing assessment, monitoring, stabilization, and collaborative transfer of neonates.  Rest, restore your health, and build bonds with your precious new infant, while our skilled staff oversees your care.

Then the physician who was with you through one of the most exciting experiences in your life (The birth of your baby!) will be there to provide healthcare for him or her and your entire family.
