Call 911 for emergencies

Who Can Be With Me?

Visitors are typically limited to two adults.  This helps to:

  • Protect your right to privacy and the privacy rights of other patients.
  • Decrease congestion in the room, allowing emergency personnel to move freely and to provide necessary care.

In helping to preserve patient privacy, all visitors must stay in the ER bays and keep the doors and curtains closed.

How Can I Help?

Be prepared to answer questions regarding your present illness, as well as current medications, allergies, immunization status, previous diagnosis and surgeries.

  • Medication cards are available at the ER/ASC Registration Desk free of charge to help you keep track of this information.
  • Be active in the discharge process.  Feel free to ask questions or voice any concerns you may have, prior to leaving.

I Don't Have Insurance, Can I Still Have Treatment?

YES.  Regardless of your ability to make payment, if you have a medical emergency or are in labor, you have the right to receive, within the capabilities of our hospital's staff and facilities:

  • Appropriate medical screening.
  • Necessary stabilizing treatment, including treatment for an unborn child.
  • An appropriate transfer to another facility.
